I have had work accepted to two events that I am very excited about. The first is the National Exhibition which will hang at the Mable House in Mableton Georgia.
The piece that was accepted was "American Metal" (right). This exhibition is sponsored by the South Cobb Arts Alliance.
I have also had this piece and my new drawing "Morning Glory" (below) accepted for the "Simply Drawn" exhibition sponsored by the Atlanta Fine Arts League.
This piece is a slight change for me. I ventured more from my reference and relied more on my creativity to manipulate the image.
The reception at the Mable House is August 23rd, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The Reception at the Big Shanty is in September 6th, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
Hope to see folks attend these events to support the artists.
